Burns grateful to fans
Richard Burns
Burns was diagnosed with a brain tumour last November
Former World Rally champion Richard Burns has thanked his fans via co-driver Robert Reid for their support as he continues to fight a brain tumour.

"He has received so many good wishes - it's really been amazing," said Reid.

"At the moment Richard's channelling all his efforts into getting through the treatment - but he remains positive and is in a really good frame of mind."

The Englishman was diagnosed with the condition after blacking out before last November's Wales Rally GB.

Burns was diagnosed as having an astrocytoma - a form of brain tumour - and has since been undergoing treatment in hospital.
