Herefordshire motorcycling star Chaz Davies hopes 2007 will bring him better luck after enduring a difficult year.
The 19-year-old lost his 250cc ride with Team Campetella when sponsorship fell through, and spent most of 2006 watching from the sidelines.
"These things happen, we got bitten, I don't want to be left like this again," he told BBC Hereford & Worcester.
"I need something now that will give me a bit of motivation for next season I've got to rebuild again now."
