Dunlop to make North West return
Robert Dunlop
Robert Dunlop has won 14 North West 200 races
Robert Dunlop will return to race at this year's North West 200, where he has won a record 14 times.

The Ballymoney ace missed all of last season in order to recover from a serious leg operation, but is ready to compete in the 125cc class again.

"It is a course I love and I miss the buzz. Racing is in my blood and I would love to record another win," he said.

Dunlop will warm up for the May event by taking in the Cookstown 100, and may also race at the Easter short circuits.

The feature race at this year's North West will be worth a record £8,000 to the winner, and will be the penultimate event of the meeting.

A total of £22,000 will be on offer for that race, with prize money being paid up to 12th place each lap.
