Farquhar wins Athea race appeal
Ryan Farquhar
Ryan Farquhar won the 600cc race at Athea
Ryan Farquhar has won his appeal against disqualification from the 600cc race at Athea earlier this month.

The Dungannon rider also won the Open event at the meeting in County Limerick, giving him a race double.

"The bike was bought especially to race at the southern Irish events as the specification is different there. I am delighted to have been reinstated."

Farquhar will face Adrian Archibald, Richard Britton, Martin Finnegan and Darran Lindsay at Skerries on Saturday.

Lindsay was another double winner at the Athea meeting, coming home first in the Grand Final and 250cc races.
