Martin has impressed boss Carl Fogarty
British-based World Superbike team Foggy Petronas have re-signed Aussie rider Steve Martin for the 2006 season.

The 36-year-old is the outfit's highest placed rider in this year's championship in 20th.

Garry McCoy's future with the team remains in doubt as he is currently 22nd in this season's rankings.

Martin said: "The guys I've been working with have shown me a whole new level of professionalism and that's been a major influence in my decision."
