Brotherton's Tour moment
The mass ride up and down the famous street
Radio 5 Live's Simon Brotherton joins thousands of cyclists to ride the Tour's final few kilometres in Paris.
The moment of the day came on the morning of the final stage when I was among 12,000 people allowed to ride a lap of the circuit to be used later that afternoon in central Paris. Five-times Tour winners Eddy Merckx, Bernard Hinault and Miguel Indurain rode alongside people of all ages, shapes and sizes - young and old.
Having taken part I must say riding down the Champs Elysees from the Arc de Triomphe in sunshine on the day the Tour arrives was a rare treat. A real moment to remember for a long time to come.
