Gibbs could be playing in the Premiership with Charlton next season

United States defender Cory Gibbs has been ruled out of the World Cup with a knee injury.
The 26-year-old sustained the injury in his side's friendly against Morocco on Tuesday, and tests have suggested he will be out for a month.
Energie Cottbu defender Gregg Berhalter has been called up as a replacement for Charlton signing Gibbs.
"We are very sorry for Cory - I believe strongly in him as a player and we will miss him," said USA coach Bruce Arena.
"In Gregg, we are fortunate to have a player of his experience ready to step in to his second World Cup.
"I'm confident that Gregg will be able to contribute immediately to our team."
