Saints boss targets new defender

Southampton boss George Burley says he will step up his efforts to sign a defender after seeing his side beat Exeter 4-2 in a pre-season friendly.
Burley told the club's official website: "We have lost a few players and need to get some new faces in.
"The striking department is not a problem, we're very strong in that area but we need to improve in other areas."
A brace from Grzegorz Rasiak and one each from Adam Lallana and Kenwyne Jones sealed the victory on Tuesday.
