Shrewsbury Town have signed goalkeeper Chris MacKenzie from League Two rivals Chester City on a free transfer.
MacKenzie, 34, rejected the offer of a new contract from Chester to make the move to Gay Meadow.
The former Hereford and Nuneaton keeper follows former Chester skipper Stewart Drummond in joining the Shrews.
Shrewsbury boss Gary Peters said that MacKenzie's signing does not mean that England under-19 keeper Joe Hart will definitely be sold.
