Peterborough have signed Josh Simpson on loan from Histon until the end of December, subject to approval from the Conference and the Football League.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who has been on trial at London Road, scored for the reserves in Wednesday's 3-0 win against Luton Town.
He has made over 50 appearances for Histon since he joined the club at the start of last season.
Simpson, who began at Cambridge United, has been capped at England C level.
