Imps' boss continues progress
Lincoln boss Keith Alexander
Alexander has made good progress
Lincoln boss Keith Alexander is out of hospital after making good progress in his recovery from brain surgery.

The 45-year-old collapsed at home last month and had been recovering at Sheffield's Royal Hallamshire Hospital from complex surgery to repair a ruptured cerebral aneurysm.

Imps acting manager Gary Simpson said: "It's too early to tell for sure, but he's getting fitter and stronger every day."

Alexander will continue his rehabilitation as an out-patient at Lincoln County hospital.

Simpson is in charge of first-team affairs until further notice, and added: "Thankfully he looks to be heading in the right direction."
