Leicester have named their £1m capture from Birmingham, Stephen Clemence, as their new team captain.
Boss Martin Allen told the Foxes website: "I wanted a man who is respected by everyone.
"He brings leadership qualities, he leads by example, he is calm, unflustered and has experience of leading a team into the division above.
"Stephen was chuffed when I told him and I'm sure he's going to do me, himself and this club proud."
