Ipswich have completed the signing of Republic of Ireland striker Alan Lee from Championship rivals Cardiff.
Lee, 27, who is thought to have cost Ipswich £100,000, has agreed terms on a two-and-a-half-year deal after completing a medical at Portman Road.
"It's a new challenge for me and I can't wait to get started," Lee told the club's official website.
"The facilities are Premiership class and I want to play my part in helping Ipswich get back to the highest level."
The Bluebirds signed Lee from Rotherham in August 2003 for £850,000 under former boss Lennie Lawrence, but he has struggled with injuries and form since Dave Jones took over at Ninian Park.
