Hull City takeover talks resume

Hull City

Further secret talks about the possible takeover of Hull City have taken place, reports BBC Radio Humberside.

Tigers owner Russell Bartlett and local businessmen Assem and Ehab Allam met in Hull to discuss the duo taking a controlling interest in the club.

None of the parties were talking after the meeting, which was held in the offices of a Hull-based law firm.

Last weekend, Bartlett said that he welcomed the Allams' interest and the parties met early last week.

On Friday, Bartlett made a counter -offer to the one put on the table by the Allams.

The BBC understands that a so-far un-named American investment bank could also be interested in the club.
