Forest Green Rovers have secured the signature of former Wales Under-21 international Lee Fowler.
The 25-year-old midfielder joins the Blue Square Premier team having played for Coventry, Huddersfield, Scarborough and Burton Albion.
He joins Rovers from Newport County, whose manager Dean Holdsworth said: "I'm sure that I act on everyone's behalf by wishing Lee all the best."
"The door remains open for him," Holdsworth told the South Wales Argus.
