Crewe Alexandra have signed Reading midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson on a one-month loan deal.
The 19-year-old has joined on an emergency loan and will go straight into the Alex squad to face Brighton.
The Iceland under-21 international has made three substitute appearances for the Royals this season, one in the FA Cup and two in the League Cup.
He also joined Shrewsbury Town on a one-month loan in October where he made four league starts, scoring once.
