Crawley Town's owners have accepted a bid to buy the Conference club.
Chas and Azwar Majeed have accepted an undisclosed offer from Britannia Sports Management to purchase 100% share of the company.
Interim Crawley chairman Susan Todman said: "We have received a bid which is acceptable to the board of the club.
"The aim of our board has always been to see the club progress and compete on a level playing field with all the teams in the Conference National."
She added; "We now look forward to Mr Pearson substantiating his offer."
Pearson, 24, is the managing director of London-based Britannia Sports Management, and reportedly hopes to complete the deal by the middle of next week.
Meanwhile, Crawley say that a CVA which was accepted by creditors at the end of August will still be honoured by SA Retail Limited, the company owned by the Majeeds.
