Charlton striker Shaun Bartlett will be sidelined until the end of February after
having an ankle operation.
The South African, who recently quit international football
to concentrate on his club career, twisted his ankle in a freak training ground
accident a month ago and had an operation on Tuesday.
Curbishley said: "Shaun's had the operation and will be out for three months.
We think he will be back in training in eight weeks and available a month
afterwards."
The 31-year-old Bartlett has scored for the Addicks three times this season.
