Carlisle United have extended the loan deal of Sunderland left-back Michael Liddle until the end of the season.
The 19-year-old has made 14 appearances for the Cumbrians since first joining from the Black Cats in mid-November.
"Michael will stay with us until the end of the season which is good news for him and for us," Carlisle boss Greg Abbott told the club website.
"He provides good competition with Evan Horwood for the left-back spot and is a terrific worker and competitor."
