Blame put on spendthrift Cardiff
Former Cardiff striker Brian Clark says the club caused its own financial problems by living beyond its means.

"If anyone's to blame it's the club for giving out contracts which they have difficulty in paying," said Clark.

"Home gates of 11-12,000 are not enough and they are not playing well enough to attract more. It's simple business, more money's going out than coming in."

Bluebirds players and staff have yet to be paid this month, with auditors being called in to examine possible cutbacks.
