Robinson strike makes history
Jake Robinson became Brighton's youngest-ever goalscorer when he netted the second in the 2-0 win over Forest Green in the LDV Vans Trophy on Monday.

Aged just 16 years and 355 days, Robinson converted a simple tap in to write himself into the record books.

Robinson told the club's website: "It hasn't really sunk in yet. It's a great feeling and I can't really believe it."

Caretaker boss Bob Booker added: "I was pleased for Jake. We know the boy has talent and long may it continue."

The youngest scorer record had been held by Mick Conway since the 1970's.
