Keeper Moss facing two months out
Neil Moss
Bournemouth goalkeeper Neil Moss is facing two months on the sidelines after he was injured in last Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Gillingham.

"He hyper-extended his knee, and he's fractured the top of his tibial plateau," boss Sean O'Driscoll said.

"The specialist has estimated he'll be out for two months - and Neil doesn't get injured much, so for him to go down was a worry, and we heard a crack."

Moss, 30, had not missed a League game for two-and-a-half years.

However, O'Driscoll was pleased after Moss's deputy Gareth Stewart helped the injury-hit Cherries beat Torquay in the Carling Cup after saving a penalty in the shoot-out.

"I didn't want it to go to extra time and penalties, but the performance was great," he said.

"We had a lot of new faces out there, and mixed and matched a bit, but I thought they played some great stuff and thoroughly deserved it."
