Cherries' Young returns
Bournemouth defender Neil Young was delighted to finally return to competitive action after spending 17 months on the sidelines with a serious knee injury.

The former Spurs right-back played the first 45 minutes of the reserves' 2-1 defeat at Millwall on Tuesday, before being substituted as a precaution.

"I was excited, but also a little apprehensive as well. But the knee was fine," he told the Cherries' website.

"I felt I could have played on but I didn't know how it would feel the next day. I was happy with a half though."

Young is the older brother of Charlton defender Luke Young.
