FA put block on Rhyl
The Football Association have put the block on Rhyl's attempts to pull out of the League of Wales and join the English pyramid system.

The Lillywhites wanted to join either the North West Counties League or the Unibond League and be a part of the set-up across the border.

But the FA said it was not their intention to admit clubs from outside England into their league system, and their application would not be supported.

The decision also effectively puts an end to thoughts of any other club - such as Bangor - from moving into the pyramid system.
