Dungannon Swifts captain Gary Fitzpatrick has sustained a suspected fractured jaw in a Mid-Ulster Cup game.
The centre-half suffered the injury during Monday night's victory over junior side Hanover at Stangmore Park.
Fitzpatrick had an X-ray after the match but the extent of the damage is still not clear.
Striker Michael Ward was taken off in the tie with a hamstring problem and he is a now a doubt for Friday night's game against Lisburn Distillery.
However, the Swifts will have Shane McCabe available again after suspension for the trip to New Grosvenor.
