Jimmy Brown took over as boss last August

Glenavon have sacked manager Jimmy Brown despite rubbishing rumours of his imminent departure and giving him a vote of confidence a few weeks ago.
Brown, who had another year of his contract to run, was shocked when he received the news while awaiting a train at Central Station.
"It came as a huge shock," he said. "To be honest I'm still trying to come to terms with the club's decision.
"I really can't say too much more. I need time to collect my thoughts."
A statement from the Mourneview club said:
"At a meeting of the Directors of Glenavon FC, a decision was taken to terminate the contract of the Manager, Jim Brown, with immediate effect.
"The Directors will meet with Mr Brown in the near future to agree a mutually acceptable compensation package."
Brown took over from Tommy Kincaid last August, and although they avoided the relegation mire, they won only seven Irish Premiership games throughout the season.
