Striker Chris Scannell celebrates scoring for Cliftonville
|
Chris Scannell is back at Cliftonville after returning to Northern Ireland from Australia.
The 28-year-old striker was a prolific goalscorer for the Solitude side before setting off to Australia 18 months ago to open a dental practice.
Scannell's decision to return home sparked interest from a number of Carnegie Premier League clubs and he trained with Ballymena United.
He will play alongside his brother Ronan, a full-back with the Reds.
Scannell joins a Cliftonville team sitting fifth in the table after winning their last two league games.
