Robbie Farrell was in action for Glenavon against Lurgan Cetic
|
Former Dublin City and Longford striker Robbie Farrell is top of new Glenavon boss Jimy Brown's shopping list after scoring twice in a pre-season match.
Farrell guested for Glenavon in a 4-0 win over neighbours Lurgan Celtic with former Linfield and Ballymena frontman Shea Campbell also starting.
It had been expected Farrell would sign a new deal at Newry but that appears to have fallen through.
Substitute Marty Verner got Glenavon's other two goals late on.
Glenavon kick-off the competitive season away to Newry City in the CIS League Cup on Saturday, 13 August.
