Barcelona are set to show faith in former Celtic striker Henrik Larsson by offering the Swede a new two-year deal.
The 33-year-old's debut season with the Catalans was cut short by a cruciate ligament injury in November.
Larsson said: "I'm really grateful that the club have stood by me while I've been injured.
"I've more or less agreed to stay for a further two seasons and I can see myself playing for a few more seasons yet, age doesn't matter to me."
