Larsson set to have knee surgery

Larsson upbeat over Barca future
Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson will have surgery on his injured left knee at specialist Richard Steadman's Colorado clinic on Friday.

The 33-year-old faces six months out after tearing a cruciate ligament in the win over Real Madrid two weeks ago.

"I am looking forward to playing football to a high level again," he told Swedish newspaper Expressen.

Steadman has already successfully performed the same surgery on Larsson's team-mate Giovanni van Bronckhorst.
