Barclays seal Premier deal
The FA Premier League has announced a three-year sponsorship deal with Barclays, beginning next season.

The deal, worth £57m over the three years, sees the Barclaycard Premiership renamed the Barclays Premiership.

The agreement also sees Barclays become sponsors of the Premier League's new community coaching programme.

Barclaycard chief executive Gary Hoffman said: "This is an exciting development and underlines our long-term commitment to football."

Phone deal

The Premier League also announced on Friday that 3 and Vodafone UK had jointly secured mobile phone rights in a three-season deal.

Both companies will be able to exclusively offer match highlights, previews, archive footage and audio bulletins.
