City off-colour in home reversal

Worcester City rounded off their home Blue Square North fixtures with a 1-0 loss to Gainsborough Trinity.

Liam Needham scored the only goal of the game in the 66th minute as City slipped to their sixth home league defeat of the season.

Richard Dryden's side had its chances with Gary Walker glancing a header wide from Mark Danks' cross-shot.

Worcester will host Redditch United on Monday in the first-leg of the Worcesterhire Senior Cup final.
