The Vics finished outside the bottom three last season, but have been sent down over issues regarding their ground and Conference membership.
With their 26-year stay at Conference level over, they will play in Conference North next season.
As a result, Forest Green have earned a reprieve from relegation and will stay in the top flight next season.
