AFC Wimbledon and Liverpool are to recreate the 1988 FA Cup Final.

Lawrie Sanchez, John Aldridge and Dave Beasant - former members of the 1988 final teams - will play in the game at Kingsmeadow on 12 September.

The match has been arranged by the Dons Trust to raise funds for the non-league club's ground campaign with a donation to be given to the Hillsborough fund.

Other former stars to play include Alan Cork, Steve McMahon, Ray Houghton, John Scales, Warren Barton and Jan Molby.
