The deciding leg of the final 2004 Olympic women's qualifier between Nigeria and South Africa was postponed before kick off on Friday.
Nine members of the Banyana Banyana, South Africa's team, reportedly went down with food poisoning at their hotel in the Nigerian capital Abuja, where Friday's match was to be played.
"The match will now take place on Sunday at the same venue," said Taiwo Ogunjobi,
secretary-general of the Nigeria Football Association (NFA).
"The South Africans lodged a complaint that nine of their players are
suffering from a running stomach."
Two South African players were reported to have needed hospital care after the attack.
The Banyana Banyana are staying at the five-star Hilton hotel, after rejecting the original accommodation arranged for them by their Nigerian hosts.
South Africa forced the African champions to a 2-2 draw in
the first leg match played in Pretoria two weeks ago.
