Martins celebrates another goal for Inter Milan
France

The usual suspects were on target for Marseille at the weekend.

Didier Drogba of Ivory Coast and Egyptian Ahmed Mido scored in each half to give Marseille a 2-0 win over Lille.

It was the first win for Marseille in three weeks.

Guinean midfielder Pascal Feindouno secured the points for Bordeaux in the last 10 minutes, as his side beat Rennes 2-1. Senegalese defender Lamine Diatta had opened the scoring for Rennes early in the first-half.

Ghana's Michael Essien received his first red card of the season but his side Lyon still won 1-0, with a goal in the last minute against Strasbourg.

Ajaccio's Malian Mamadou Bagayoko equalised at the stroke of half-time but his side went on to lose 3-1 to Montpellier.

Gabonese striker Daniel Cousin had put his side Le Mans in the lead earlier in the game but they shared the points with Toulouse after conceding a last minute goal.


Italy

Nigerian striker Obafemi Martins was on target for his side Inter Milan who enjoyed a goal feast as they beat Reggina 6-0.

Inter are in fourth place in Serie A after 10 games.

Perugia'a Malian defender Souleymane Diamoutene was sent-off for the second time this season, as his third-from-bottom team were reduced to eight men in the second-half and lost 3-1 to Lazio.


Spain

Cameroon striker, Samuel Eto'o Fils scored the only goal of the match to give his side Mallorca a 1-0 away win in Real Sociedad.

Eto'o, who scored in the 17th minute, is on the shortlist for the African and European Footballer fo the Year awards.

Ivorian international defender Cyril Domoraud, gave bottom-placed Espanyol a much-needed victory, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Sevilla.

The match, which gave Espanyol their second win of the season, was littered with no less than 10 yellow cards and a sending off.


Germany

A Namibian was the hero for Hansa Rostock's Razundara Tjikuzu whose early second-half goal gave his side a 1-0 victory over Schalke.

And Wilfried Sanou of Burkina Faso did likewise for Freiburg, when he scored nine minutes from time to dismiss Eintrancht Frankfurt 1-0.

Cameroon ace defender Bill Tchato scored Kaiserslautern's third goal as they came from two goals down to beat Hertha Berlin 4-2.


Holland
Ahmed Hossam (Mido)
'Mido' scored in the second half to give Marseille victory

Moroccan Nourdin Boukhari put NAC Breda in the lead as they dismissed FC Zwolle 2-0.

Boukhari's Moroccan counterpart Ali El Khattabi hit a consolation goal for AZ Alkmaar, as his side suffered their heaviest defeat this season, losing 5-1 to Roda JC.

Ivorian Aruna Kone scored the last goal for Roda.
