New Zealand began their warm-up for the Women's World Cup by beating Australia by two wickets in Whangarei in the first game of their one-day series.
The Aussies were restricted to 150-8, despite 52 from Jodie Fields.
But they had the Kiwis reeling at 28-5 before Amy Satterthwaite (49 not out) and Lucy Doolan (34) added 74 to see them home with four overs to spare.
The five-game series continues in Whangarei on Tuesday, while the World Cup begins in Australia on 7 March.

Australia's new-ball pairing of Emma Sampson (2-26) and Rene Farrell (3-26) had ripped through the New Zealand top order, while debutante off-spinner Erin Osborne took 1-19 from her 10 overs.
The White Ferns' attack was led by seamers Abby Burrows (2-15) and Suzie Bates (2-38).
The result helped make it an excellent day for New Zealand cricket, with men's team beating Australia by two wickets a few hours later.
