The Women's World Cup Qualifier in February has been moved from Pakistan to South Africa for security reasons.
The event was due to take place in Lahore in November but was delayed when emergency rule was imposed in Pakistan.
Since then, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has been killed and January's elections delayed by a month.
Scotland, Ireland, Bermuda, Pakistan, Holland, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Papua New Guinea will try to qualify for the 2009 World Cup in Australia.
"It is unfortunate that the timing of the event ended up clashing with the elections and forcing us to change the venue," said International Cricket Council chief executive Malcolm Speed.
"We remain committed to international cricket being played in Pakistan but, sadly, events beyond the control of the ICC and the Pakistan Cricket Board have conspired against us on this occasion."
