India Under-19 make England toil
First Under-19 Test, Bangalore, day one of four: India 311-6 v England

England Under-19 were made to work on the opening day of their tour as their Indian counterparts reached 311-6 in the first "Test" in Bangalore.

Touring captain Steven Davies had to use seven bowlers after being asked to field first, with Lancashire pace man Andrew Miller taking two wickets.

Every batsman got into double figures, Shikhar Dhawan leading the way with 69 and captain Ambati Rayudu making 68.

An opening stand of 95 ended when Miller dismissed Robin Uthappa for 59.
