Waqar was passed over for Pakistan's series against India

Warwickshire are considering rehiring Pakistani fast bowler Waqar Younis for the 2004 county season.
The Bears are on the lookout for an experienced seamer after failing to lure Darren Gough, who went to Essex.
Waqar, who took 39 wickets in eight championship games last year, should be available all season after being passed over for next month's India series.
"Waqar is definitely an option as are quite a few others," committee
member Gladstone Small told Bloomberg.
He added: "We have a young and talented
bunch of quick bowlers but need someone who has a bit of experience and maybe
who is a personality.''
Waqar, 32, said he would welcome a return to Edgbaston.
"I feel I have one last season of county cricket in me,'' the former Pakistan captain said.
"I got on well with the Warwickshire guys so I hope it
happens.''
Waqar is the second-highest wicket-taker in one-day
cricket with 416 and the 12th-highest in Test matches with 373.
