Walker relishing new deputy role
Matt Walker has been named Kent's new vice-captain following Ed Smith's departure for Middlesex.

Batsman Walker says he will relish the extra responsibility of supporting skipper David Fulton.

"If Dave's captain, then I'll be available for my thoughts, and my motivation will be there as always.

"If Dave injures himself - hopefully not - there'll be a lot more decision-making and responsibility on my part," Walker told BBC Kent.
