Glamorgan open season at Warwicks
Glamorgan captain Robert Croft
Newly-promoted Glamorgan face a testing start to the 2005 season, opening their county campaign against champions Warwickshire at Edgbaston on 13 April.

The Dragons begin the defence of their Totesport League title against Lancashire at Old Trafford on 17 April.

A full fixture list will be officially announced in the next few days.

Robert Croft's team could also face Australia - if Worcestershire are involved in the Twenty20 Cup finals day, and Glamorgan are not.

Five of Glamorgan's home Totesport games, and three Twenty20 matches, will be played under the proposed new floodlights at Sophia Gardens.

St Helen's will also be a venue for a Twenty20 game.
