A public row between the Pakistan Cricket Board chief selector and the coach and captain is damaging the image of the sport, according to Ramiz Raja.
The PCB chief executive said grievances should not have been made public.
The row flared up after selector Aamir Sohail named 22 players for the series
against New Zealand without consulting coach Javed Miandad.
Chairman Tauqir Zia intervened, leading
to veteran wicket-keeper Moin Khan being reinstatated.
Sohail said: "They are not
supposed to give statements against each other in the press.
"This only damages the spirit and image of Pakistan
cricket."
The board has told captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, Miandad and Sohail to submit written statements
following the bust-up.
