Matthew Hayden has reclaimed second place in the Test batting rankings after his performances in Australia's 4-1 series win in the West Indies.
The opener edged out team-mate and man-of-the-series Ricky Ponting after top-scoring with 177 in the final Test against the West Indies.
West Indies' Ramnaresh Sarwan jumps seven places to 26 after a century in his side's historic run chase in the final Test, and his team-mate Shivnarine Chanderpaul also moves up three places.
In the bowling list, Glenn McGrath, with only three wickets in the two Tests that he played, has slipped below Shaun Pollock to leave the South African top of the bowling ratings.
But the West Indies' Jermaine Lawson - whose action is the subject of an ICC investigation - has leaped 14 places up the list to 22 after a productive series.
England's Michael Vaughan holds on to the number one position in the batting table.
