    London Pulse 42-18 Birmingham Panthers

Well what a second-quarter that was!

Birmingham Panthers reached double digits but London Pulse are still in the lead.

There was plenty of 'Super Shot' opportunities in that quarter. But what is a Super Shot?

The Super Shot gives teams in the Netball Super League the chance to score two points instead of one. There is a designated Super Shot scoring area in the goal circle and if a player scores from inside that area, they'll get two goal points.

The players now go into the changing room for half-time.

England Rose, Liv Tchine scored 32 goals including nine super shots to see London Pulse secure a 61-52 win over NIC Leeds Rhinos last weekend. Tchine has scored more goals than any other player in the NSL so far this year with a staggering 166 goals and an accuracy of 91%. London Pulse have only lost one match from five this season and this was to undefeated league leaders Loughborough Lightning.

This Saturday, Pulse welcome a struggling Birmingham Panthers to the Copper Box Arena. The Panthers are yet to get off the mark this season and have lost all five league matches of the campaign, each by a margin of at least 10 goals.

However, there is a glimmer of hope for the bottom of the table side. Whilst Birmingham Panthers were out muscled by the league leaders in an 83-69 defeat last Saturday, they can draw some positives with it being their highest scoring performance of the season.

Can Birmingham Panthers finally get a much needed win this Saturday or will London Pulse edge closer to league leaders Loughborough Lightning?
