MacDonald at the double as Devils win at Storm

Josh MacDonald struck twice as Cardiff Devils bounced back from Saturday's defeat at Sheffield Steelers with a 3-1 Elite League victory at Manchester Storm.

MacDonald opened for the visitors with the only goal of the opening period.

After a goalless second period, Storm hit back in the third with Brady Gilmour finding the net.

But Kohen Olischefski restored Devils' narrow lead and MacDonald added their third as the clocked ticked down.

Cardiff Devils are next in action on Friday, 26 December when they host Coventry Blaze (16:00 GMT) while Manchester Storm welcome Dundee Stars on Tuesday, 23 December (19:30 GMT).
