Hartlepool United have signed midfielder Owen Hampson, who was recently released by Sheffield United.
Hampson, 21, has signed a one-year contract at Victoria Park with the option of an additional year.
He was at Manchester United prior to joining the Blades in 2021 and he has since had spells on loan at Dunfermline and Boston United.
Hampson did not make a league appearance for Sheffield United, with all three of his first-team outings coming in cup competitions.
"I'm delighted to be joining Hartlepool United and I can't wait to get started," he told the club website.
"This is a massive opportunity for me at a really important stage of my career.
"I've learned a huge amount during my time at Manchester United and Sheffield United, but now I'm at the point where I want to establish myself in senior football, make my mark and show what I can do."
