Llanelli to host Wales Women's World Cup play-off

Wales were unbeaten in the group phase of Women's World Cup qualifying

Wales' Women's World Cup round one play-off second leg against Albania will be played at Parc y Scarlets.
Rhian Wilkinson's side take on the Albanians – who they beat twice during the group stage of qualifying – as they bid to take a step closer to Brazil 2027.
The first leg will take place in Albania on Friday, 9 October with the second leg in Llanelli on Tuesday, 13 October.
If Wales win, they will take on either Romania or Norway in a second two-legged tie in early December.
They may then face an inter-confederation play-off early next year before a World Cup place is sealed.
"I really enjoy playing in Llanelli," said Wales head coach Rhian Wilkinson.
"The atmosphere is always great, and the Red Wall (Wales' fans) will play a huge part in helping us get over the line in what will be another tough game.
"I hope that together we can create another special night at Parc y Scarlets."

Wales' most recent game in Llanelli was a 6-1 thrashing of Montenegro in March.
The following month, Wilkinson's side thumped Albania 4-0 in Wrexham before scrapping their way to a 1-0 win in the return fixture four days later.
Wales secured top spot in Group B1 – and a more favourable play-off path - after victory over the Czech Republic earlier this month.
Should they reach the second round of play-offs, Wales will go away for the second leg, with the first leg of that tie being staged at the Cardiff City Stadium.
There will be eight overall play-off winners across Europe. Seven of those will go directly to the World Cup, with the victorious side with the lowest rank from the group phase heading into the inter-confederation play-off.
