What injury did Cherki suffer?

Rayan Cherki's fitness and the nature of his injury have been the subject of several questions sent in via our 'Ask about Manchester City' form.
Cherki suffered a thigh injury at the end of August and boss Pep Guardiola said the issue would keep him out for two months.
But he returned to action earlier than expected, featuring as a second-half substitute in Saturday's 2-0 win over Everton.
With the likes of Phil Foden and Jeremy Doku in fine form this season, the France international has a battle on his hands to not only break into the team but cement his place.
However, you can see how highly Guardiola rates when the Spaniard spoke before Tuesday's Champions League game at Villarreal.
"Rayan [Cherki] is one of the huge talents I have ever seen in my career, technically and individually," said Guardiola. "He is top."
No pressure on the 22-year-old then.
