Chris Gunter has been named Wales Under-18 coach for 2026-27 despite joining Oxford United as assistant boss to Aaron Ramsey last month.

Wales great Gunter, 37, led the nation's under-19 side at this summer's Uefa Men's Under-19 Championship.

The Football Association of Wales (FAW) says Gunter will combine his new under-18 role with his job at League One Oxford.

Former Wales women's assistant boss Jon Grey, who also works at Swansea City, will take charge of the men's under-19 side this season.

Adrian Harvie will be under-17s boss with Drew Sherman leading the under-16s and Jonathan Jones in charge of the under-16s.

Nia Davies continues as women's under-19 boss, with Natalie Lawrence in charge of the under-17s and Warren Holmes leading the under-16s and under-15s.
